We understand that serious procedures can be scary for you and your pet. Our veterinarian and staff at NorthPointe believe in informed pet parenting and will work with you to find the best solution for your pet, and the steps that need to be taken while your pet is in recovery. If we are not equipped to handle the procedure your patient needs, we will do our best to direct you to a hospital that can perform the procedure.

What to expect after surgery
Once your pet has been checked out, it will need your assistance with recovery. We will provide you with recovery instructions as well as any medications and prescriptions they made need post-surgery.
You should monitor their behavior over the next 24-48 hours, taking note of any strange or concerning behavior, and making sure they aren't messing with the incision site.
